Henry Passmore III    
V.A. Medical Center Employee AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Henry Passmore, III of Walton Way, entered into rest Saturday, January 28, 2006 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Sam Davis officiating. Burial iwll be at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Louisville, GA. He was a native of Jefferson County, GA, a graduate of Georgia School for the Deaf, a member of the Deaf Council of Georgia, an employee of the V.A. Medical Center and a member of the Beulah Grove Baptist Church. Survivors are his mother, Rev. Louise Passmore, Wadley, GA; four sisters, Casetta Passmore Heard, Sharon Holliman, Laverne Passmore, Augusta and Esther Elaine Passmore, Wadley; maternal grandfather, Rev. S.M. Martin, Wadley, GA; five nieces, other relatives and friends. Ruth Benson went peacefully home to be with the Lord the morning of Thursday, June 29, 2006.

The visitation will be on Sunday, July 2 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, 1 Bullsboro Dr. Newnan, GA

The funeral will be on Monday, July 3 at 11:00AM
First Baptist Church of Newnan 15 West Washington St. Newnan 30263

Miss Ruth will lie in state at the church for 1 hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00AM.

Martha Clayton Clement, age 53, passed away Monday, July 10, 2006 after suffering a heart attack at her home in Snellville.

Survived by her husband of 29 years, Gerald Clement: her sons Barry Clement of
Atlanta and Andrew Clement of snellville.

Martha joined the Georgia State Patrol where she became the second female licence examiner in Georgia and was instrumental in establishing the TDD system
to assist hearing impaired applicants in obtaining driver's licneses. Martha Clement is hard of hearing. She also served on the Georgia Council for the Hearing Impaired(GACHI)

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm in July 12, 2006.

Henry Basil Oaks, age 93, of Cave Springs, Georgia passed away
Friday, August 11, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen and son Bobby. He is survived by his son, Cecil and wife Brenda Oaks, Good Hope, GA; two sisters Pauline Reinhardt of Brandon, MS and Zilla Smith, Culman, AL; brother Harold Oaks, Wallingford, CT; grandchildren Scott Oaks, Sandy Murray, Russell Oaks, Suzanne Smith, Mandy Mullins; also 14 great grandchildren. Mr. Oaks was a member in the Hall of Fame of the National Fraternal Society of the Deaf. He retired with over 30 years of faithful and loyal service at The First National Bank of Atlanta. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 13, 2006 in Eternal Hills Chapel with Rev. Frank Osborne officiating. Interment, Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends today from 5 till 8pm at Eternal
Hills Funeral Home in Snellville, GA 770-972-3155.
